The short answer

Of the heroes here, classic Doom is most likely to beat Captain America (78%) and least likely to beat Galactus (3%). Iron Man, whose film actor now plays Doom, is close to an even fight: classic Doom wins 55%.

Fight rules: both fighters at their peak, no preparation, no allies, only their own powers and personal gear. A win is a knockout, a restraint they can't escape, or a forced surrender. The percentages are fan estimates, not official information.

The Avengers

Four Avengers who have crossed Doom again and again: Iron Man, his rival in armor since their trip to Camelot (Iron Man #149–150, 1981); Captain America, who first faced him when the Avengers went to Latveria (Avengers #25, 1966) and fought beside him in Hell sixty years later; Thor, who fought him to a draw in Heroes Reborn: The Return (1997) and could not dent his Destroyer armor (Thor #603–606, 2010); and Doctor Strange, his partner and rival in sorcery since Triumph and Torment (1989).

Cosmic powers

The two cosmic beings Doom has taken power from. He stole the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic (Fantastic Four #57–60, 1966–67) and drained Galactus himself on the first Battleworld (Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #10, 1985).
