The Iron Mask Files is an independent, unofficial fan site about Doctor Doom, run by one fan. It is not connected to Marvel, Disney or Sony.

We cover Doctor Doom's comics, films and the characters he has actually fought. A matchup page is only published when there is real comics history to cite between Doom and that character.

Every percentage on the site comes from one fixed method, explained on how the odds work. The odds are fan opinion, made for discussion, and not betting odds.

Every claim about a comic carries the issue it comes from. Facts are checked against reference sources such as the Marvel Database, Marvel.com and Wikipedia, and against publishers' solicitations and published reviews. Film news is labeled Confirmed when Marvel or Disney has announced it, and Reported when it comes from a named outlet but is not yet official. Rumors are not presented as facts.

Pages on this site are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against the issues and sources they cite before they are published. The site's owner is responsible for everything published here.

The Updated date on a page changes only when that page's content changes. Pages that track news, such as the Avengers: Doomsday hub, keep a dated log of what changed.
