Doctor Doom vs. Thanos, the Cabal and the villains of Secret Wars

The Fantastic Four are Doom's oldest enemies, not his most dangerous. Here are 11 of the biggest threats he has faced, from Thanos and the Cabal to the Molecule Man and the Beyonders, rated one-on-one against all 13 versions of Doom with the comics behind every number.

Fight rules: both fighters at their peak, no preparation, no allies, only their own powers and personal gear. A win is a knockout, a restraint they can't escape, or a forced surrender. The percentages are fan estimates, not official information.

The Cabal

In 2014, as colliding universes threatened to destroy Earth, Namor formed the Cabal to do what the Illuminati could not: destroy the other Earth first. He recruited Thanos and his Black Order, Black Swan, Terrax and Maximus, and lost control of them to Thanos within a year. In Time Runs Out (2015) they destroyed world after world, then rode out the end of the multiverse in a life raft and woke on Doom's Battleworld (Secret Wars, 2015).

Time Runs Out and Secret Wars

The beings behind the end of the multiverse, the man whose power rebuilt it for Doom, and the villains who ruled or rebelled on Battleworld while Doom sat on its throne as God Emperor (New Avengers and Avengers, 2014–15; Secret Wars, 2015).
