Corvus Glaive is Thanos's second in command in the Black Order and Proxima Midnight's husband. In Infinity (2013) Hyperion obliterated him, leaving only his glaive; because its blade was unbroken, he slowly regrew, and Maximus finished the job (New Avengers vol. 3 #19, 2014). Namor freed him to join the Cabal (#23–24). He woke with the others on Battleworld (Secret Wars #2, 2015); Apocalypse's Horsemen beat him and Proxima, and Doom kept them in stasis tubes while he probed their minds (Secret Wars #6). After the multiverse was rebuilt he challenged Thanos, and when Thanos shattered his glaive, Corvus took his own life with a shard of it rather than die at Thanos's hand (Thanos vol. 2 #1, 2017). He came back when the Black Order was reformed (Avengers #676, 2018).
