Proxima Midnight is one of Thanos's Black Order and the wife of Corvus Glaive. In Infinity (2013) she joined the Order's attack on New York, fought Luke Cage's Mighty Avengers (Mighty Avengers #2, 2013), and ended up sealed in amber with Thanos by his son Thane (Infinity #6). Namor freed her to join the Cabal (New Avengers vol. 3 #23–24, 2014). She survived the end of the multiverse in the Cabal's life raft and woke on Battleworld (Secret Wars #1–2, 2015). Baron Apocalypse's Horsemen brought her and Corvus in badly hurt, and Doom held them in stasis tubes in Castle Doom while he probed their minds (Secret Wars #6). She was returned to Earth-616 when the multiverse was rebuilt (Secret Wars #9).
