The verdict: The Sentry is the clear favorite

Fight rules: both fighters at their peak, no preparation, no allies, only their own powers and personal gear. A win is a knockout, a restraint they can't escape, or a forced surrender. The percentages are fan estimates, not official information.

Doom's edge

The Sentry's mind is his weakness: the Void, his own dark side, has taken him over before (Siege #2, 2010), and Doom is a master of patience and manipulation. In Latveria they fought on the same side (Dark Avengers #2 to 4, 2009).

The Sentry's edge

The power of a million exploding suns: strength, speed and durability on Thor's level, flight and energy blasts, and in the Void a darkness that tore Ares apart (Siege #2, 2010).
