Wolverine first fought the Hulk (The Incredible Hulk #181, 1974) and joined the X-Men in 1975 (Giant-Size X-Men #1). Magneto once tore the adamantium from his bones (X-Men #25, 1993). He has crossed Doom twice: he forced Doom to restore Storm by trading Doom's life for hers (Uncanny X-Men #147, 1981), and he helped Shuri retake Wakanda from Doom (Doomwar #1 to 6, 2010).
