Thor is the Asgardian god of thunder and the son of Odin. He first came to Earth bound to the mortal Donald Blake, who found Mjolnir in a cave (Journey into Mystery #83, 1962), and became a founding Avenger (Avengers #1, 1963). He and Doom have clashed rarely but memorably. They fought to a draw in Heroes Reborn: The Return (1997). In 2010 Doom fought him in a version of the Destroyer, Asgard's enchanted armor; Thor could not hurt it, and Doom withdrew only when its power ran low (Thor vol. 3 #603–606). On Battleworld, a corps of Thors drawn from many realities served as God Emperor Doom's enforcers (Secret Wars #2, 2015).
