Who is the Thing?
Michael Chiklis played Ben Grimm, an astronaut and Reed's best friend, whose change into the rock-skinned Thing was the hardest of the four and cost him his engagement. When Doom used Reed's machine to turn Ben human and took Reed captive, Ben climbed back into the machine to become the Thing again and save his friends, then helped freeze Doom with cold water (Fantastic Four, 2005). In the sequel he helped Johnny take the board back from Doom.
First appearance: Fantastic Four (2005).
