Who is Human Torch?

Chris Evans played Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four (2005) and Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), a cocky extreme-sports showman who loved being famous. Doom sent a heat-seeking missile after him in the first film. In the sequel a brush with the Surfer left his molecules unstable, so that touching a teammate swapped their powers, and in the final battle he absorbed all four of the team's powers at once and, with Ben, beat the board-powered Doom. Evans returned to the role in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), where a Johnny stranded in the Void was killed by Cassandra Nova.

First appearance: Fantastic Four (2005).
