Fight rules: both fighters at their peak, no preparation, no allies, only their own powers and personal gear. A win is a knockout, a restraint they can't escape, or a forced surrender. The percentages are fan estimates, not official information.

Doom's edge

A god's power against a mind that has never had one. The Maker's empire on Earth-6160 was all leverage and preparation, and on Battleworld, the one time he reached for God Emperor Doom's power, the Molecule Man cut him into slices (Secret Wars #9, 2015).

The Maker's edge

Reed Richards's genius with nothing left to restrain it: he rewrote sixty years of a world's history, controls time inside his City, spreads his mind through microplastic spores, and at the end grew into a City-sized hyper-object reaching across past and future (Ultimate Endgame #2–5, 2026).

The Maker is the Reed Richards of the first Ultimate Universe, Earth-1610. The prodigy who led that world's Fantastic Four turned on everything he had been and became the villain of Jonathan Hickman's Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates (2011–12), master of a domed City and its Children of Tomorrow. He outlived his universe by joining the Cabal and reached Battleworld, where he trapped Earth-616's Reed in a homemade temporal bubble so he could take God Emperor Doom's power for himself, until the Molecule Man cut him into slices (Secret Wars #9, 2015). In Ultimate Invasion (2023) he escaped to a younger world, Earth-6160, arriving in the early 1960s, and remade it: he killed the Eternals, delayed a rocket launch so that world's Fantastic Four missed their cosmic storm, kept anyone from ever becoming a super hero, and ruled through a secret Maker's Council. He broke that world's Reed Richards and welded a Doom mask onto him (Ultimates #4, 2024). Howard Stark and Doom sealed him inside his City for two years; inside, he fought Howard, now Immortus, across what felt like thousands of years and finally absorbed the City itself (Ultimate Endgame #2, 2026). He burst out as a City-sized tree, set on replacing all life with himself, and fell to every hero on Earth striking at once and to Doom inside the Immortus Engine (Ultimate Endgame #5, June 2026).

First appearance: Ultimate Fantastic Four #1 (2004) as Reed Richards; the Maker of Jonathan Hickman's Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates (2011–12).

Weaknesses and limits

Gear

The Maker's helmet and black bodysuit; the City and its Children of Tomorrow; Howard Stark's stolen Immortus Engine (Ultimate Endgame #4); microplastic Maker-spores; and whatever his genius can build from what's in reach, like the temporal bubble he made from Battleworld scrap.

In a team fight

Rewrites the battlefield: turns the ground, the air and his enemies' allies into extensions of himself. Build a team against Doom.

Status, October 2026

Destroyed in Ultimate Endgame #5 (June 24, 2026), though perhaps not for good. The Fantastic Force burned his last molecules, but in the closing pages of Ultimate Universe: Finale #1 the young Victor von Doom of Earth-6160 has a vial of him, means to study it, and knows exactly who the Maker really is.
